Shipping policy

Shipping & Delivery Policy

Effective Date: January 1st, 2026

This Shipping & Delivery Policy applies to all products purchased from Fitment Lab through our website, invoices, payment links, financing partners, social media platforms, telephone orders, text messages, or other authorized sales channels.

This policy is incorporated into and should be read together with our Terms of Service and Return, Cancellation & Sales Policy.

By placing an order, signing an invoice, submitting payment, entering into a financing or lease-to-own agreement, or accepting delivery, the customer acknowledges and agrees to this Shipping & Delivery Policy.

Order Processing

Orders are processed after:

  • Required payment has been received or approved
  • Financing or lease-to-own documents have been completed
  • The customer has signed any required invoice or authorization
  • Customer identity and payment information have been verified
  • Vehicle and fitment information has been provided
  • Product availability has been confirmed
  • Any requested supporting documents have been received

Submitting payment or signing an invoice does not mean that an order has shipped.

Orders may be held while Fitment Lab completes payment verification, fraud screening, address verification, financing verification, product confirmation, or other reasonable order-review procedures.

Fitment Lab reserves the right to request additional verification before processing or shipping an order.

Processing and Fulfillment Estimates

Processing, production, fulfillment, and shipping timeframes are estimates unless Fitment Lab expressly guarantees a specific date in a signed written agreement.

Estimated timeframes may vary depending on:

  • Product availability
  • Manufacturer inventory
  • Distributor inventory
  • Custom finishing
  • Custom drilling
  • Custom offsets
  • Production schedules
  • Warehouse processing
  • Payment verification
  • Financing verification
  • Freight-carrier availability
  • Holidays and weekends
  • Weather conditions
  • Supply-chain interruptions
  • Events outside Fitment Lab’s reasonable control

Business days generally exclude Saturdays, Sundays, and federal holidays.

An estimated shipping date is not the same as an estimated delivery date.

Special-Order and Custom Products

Many products sold by Fitment Lab are special ordered, custom ordered, built to specification, finished to order, drilled to order, allocated from a supplier, or shipped directly from a manufacturer or distributor.

Special-order and custom products may require additional processing or production time.

Examples may include:

  • Custom-forged wheels
  • Custom wheel finishes
  • Custom offsets
  • Custom drilling
  • Made-to-order wheels
  • Special tire sizes
  • Staggered wheel packages
  • Lift and suspension products
  • Backordered products
  • Products transferred between warehouses
  • Manufacturer-direct shipments

Production and fulfillment estimates for special-order merchandise are not guaranteed unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.

Once an order has entered supplier processing, production, allocation, fulfillment, or shipment, it cannot be canceled except where required by applicable law.

Shipping Time Versus Delivery Time

Processing time begins after the order has been accepted and all required information, documentation, and payment have been received.

Transit time begins after the shipment has been physically accepted by the carrier.

Tracking information may be created before the carrier physically picks up or scans the shipment.

The presence of a tracking number does not necessarily mean that the shipment is already in transit.

Carrier scans and tracking updates may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate.

Fitment Lab does not control a carrier’s internal scanning, routing, scheduling, or delivery procedures.

Shipping Methods

Fitment Lab may ship orders through:

  • Parcel carriers
  • Commercial freight carriers
  • Less-than-truckload freight carriers
  • Manufacturer-direct shipping
  • Distributor-direct shipping
  • Warehouse transfers
  • Local delivery providers
  • Freight-terminal pickup
  • Other appropriate delivery methods

Fitment Lab may select the carrier and shipping method based on product size, weight, location, availability, safety, and cost unless a different method is expressly agreed to in writing.

Orders containing multiple products may be shipped separately and may arrive at different times.

Shipping Charges

Shipping charges are calculated based on factors that may include:

  • Product size
  • Product weight
  • Number of packages
  • Shipping destination
  • Residential or commercial classification
  • Freight access
  • Liftgate requirements
  • Limited-access locations
  • Delivery method
  • Fuel surcharges
  • Carrier fees
  • Insurance or declared value
  • Special handling

Shipping charges shown or quoted may be subject to correction if the customer provides incomplete or inaccurate delivery information.

Additional carrier fees caused by the customer’s address, delivery location, or requested delivery service are the customer’s responsibility.

Free or Discounted Shipping

Any free or discounted shipping promotion applies only under the specific terms of the promotion.

Free or discounted shipping may exclude:

  • Alaska
  • Hawaii
  • United States territories
  • International destinations
  • Remote areas
  • Islands
  • Military addresses
  • Limited-access locations
  • Residential freight delivery
  • Oversized products
  • Special-order products
  • Expedited delivery
  • Liftgate service
  • Inside delivery
  • Redelivery
  • Reconsignment
  • Storage
  • Address correction

Free shipping has no separate cash value and cannot be exchanged for a refund, discount, or credit.

When an order is refused, returned, redirected, or determined to be undeliverable because of customer action, the actual outbound and return shipping costs may be deducted from any amount otherwise legally required to be refunded.

Accurate Shipping Information

The customer is responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address, including:

  • Full recipient name
  • Business name, when applicable
  • Street address
  • Unit or suite number
  • City
  • State
  • ZIP code
  • Valid telephone number
  • Valid email address
  • Accurate residential or commercial classification
  • Relevant delivery instructions

Fitment Lab is not responsible for delays, additional charges, or failed deliveries resulting from inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated information supplied by the customer.

Address Verification

To reduce fraud and unauthorized transactions, Fitment Lab may require shipment to:

  • The verified billing address
  • The address approved by the financing company
  • The address approved by the lease-to-own provider
  • A verified business address
  • A carrier freight terminal
  • Another address approved by Fitment Lab after verification

Fitment Lab may require identification, proof of address, payment authorization, or confirmation from the account holder before approving a different shipping address.

Address Changes

Address changes are not guaranteed after an order has been placed.

The customer must immediately notify Fitment Lab in writing of any requested address change.

An address-change request is not approved unless Fitment Lab confirms the change in writing.

Once an order has entered processing, been assigned to a warehouse, received a shipping label, been transferred to a supplier, or been tendered to the carrier, the shipping address may not be changed.

The customer is responsible for all fees associated with:

  • Address corrections
  • Shipment interception
  • Reconsignment
  • Rerouting
  • Redelivery
  • Return transportation
  • Storage
  • Terminal transfer

Fitment Lab is not responsible when a carrier refuses or is unable to complete an address-change request.

Residential and Commercial Addresses

The customer must accurately disclose whether the delivery address is residential or commercial.

A business operated from a home is generally considered a residential delivery location by freight carriers.

A location may be considered limited access even if it is commercially operated.

Examples of locations that may result in additional fees include:

  • Residential addresses
  • Apartment complexes
  • Schools
  • Churches
  • Farms
  • Construction sites
  • Government buildings
  • Military facilities
  • Storage facilities
  • Dealerships without freight access
  • Businesses without a loading dock
  • Remote locations
  • Gated properties
  • Limited-access facilities

Additional charges assessed because the customer incorrectly classified the delivery location are the customer’s responsibility.

Freight Shipments

Wheels, tires, suspension products, oversized packages, and mounted wheel-and-tire packages may be shipped by commercial freight carrier.

Freight shipments may require:

  • Delivery appointment
  • Valid customer telephone number
  • Adult recipient
  • Signature
  • Freight-truck access
  • Customer unloading assistance
  • Loading dock or forklift
  • Liftgate service
  • Terminal pickup

The freight carrier may contact the customer to schedule delivery.

The customer is responsible for answering carrier communications and making themselves reasonably available for delivery.

Failure to respond to the carrier may result in delays, storage charges, redelivery charges, or return of the shipment.

Curbside Freight Delivery

Unless expressly agreed to otherwise in writing, freight delivery is curbside only.

Curbside delivery generally means delivery to the nearest safe and accessible location at the customer’s address.

Standard freight delivery does not include:

  • Inside delivery
  • Placement inside a garage
  • Placement inside a residence
  • Placement inside a business
  • Unpacking
  • Assembly
  • Installation
  • Removal of packaging
  • Carrying products upstairs
  • Moving products to a preferred location

The customer is responsible for arranging any assistance necessary to move the merchandise after curbside delivery.

Liftgate Service

Liftgate service is not automatically included unless expressly listed on the invoice or shipping confirmation.

A liftgate may be required when the delivery location does not have:

  • A loading dock
  • A forklift
  • Appropriate unloading equipment

If liftgate service is requested or required after shipment, the carrier may assess an additional fee.

The customer is responsible for any additional liftgate charge not included in the original order.

Freight Terminal Pickup

Fitment Lab may require or permit an order to be picked up from a carrier terminal.

The customer may be required to present:

  • Government-issued identification
  • Tracking or shipment number
  • Order confirmation
  • Additional carrier-required documentation

The name on the identification must match the authorized recipient unless the carrier approves otherwise.

The customer is responsible for having a suitable vehicle, equipment, and assistance to safely load and transport the merchandise.

Delivery Appointments

A freight-carrier delivery appointment is an estimated delivery window and is not a guaranteed appointment unless the carrier expressly states otherwise.

Fitment Lab is not responsible for carrier scheduling changes, missed delivery windows, delayed appointments, or the customer’s lost time, wages, business, or other consequential expenses.

The customer should not schedule installation, vehicle service, travel, labor, or other dependent arrangements until the complete order has been received and inspected.

Signature Requirements

Fitment Lab may require an adult signature for any shipment.

The customer authorizes delivery to an adult at the approved shipping address unless Fitment Lab or the carrier requires delivery specifically to the named recipient.

A carrier’s delivery confirmation, signature record, delivery photograph, GPS information, or other delivery record may be used as evidence that delivery occurred.

The customer is responsible for ensuring that an authorized adult is available to receive and inspect the shipment.

Delivery Without Signature

When permitted by the carrier, a shipment may be delivered without a signature.

The customer accepts the risks associated with requesting or allowing unattended delivery, including theft, weather exposure, misplacement, or damage after delivery.

Fitment Lab may refuse a request to waive a signature requirement.

Carrier approval of a signature release does not waive the customer’s obligations under this policy.

Delivery Estimates

Delivery dates and transit times are estimates only unless a specific delivery date is expressly guaranteed in writing.

Delivery estimates may change because of:

  • Carrier delays
  • Weather
  • Traffic
  • Equipment failure
  • Routing changes
  • Freight congestion
  • Holiday volume
  • Natural disasters
  • Labor disruptions
  • Customs delays
  • Security inspections
  • Incorrect addresses
  • Missed appointments
  • Customer unavailability
  • Events outside Fitment Lab’s reasonable control

Fitment Lab is not responsible for indirect losses caused by carrier delays, including missed appointments, lost wages, installation rescheduling, vehicle downtime, rental expenses, or lost business.

Legally Required Delay Notices

Fitment Lab will comply with applicable federal and state requirements relating to shipping representations and material shipping delays.

When legally required, Fitment Lab may notify the customer of a revised shipping estimate and request the customer’s consent to continue waiting.

If applicable law requires cancellation or a refund for unshipped merchandise and the customer does not consent to the delay, Fitment Lab will provide the legally required remedy.

Nothing in this policy eliminates a right that cannot legally be waived.

Tracking Information

Tracking information will be provided when available.

Tracking may be sent by:

  • Email
  • Text message
  • Order-status page
  • Customer-service message
  • Financing platform
  • Carrier communication

The customer is responsible for monitoring tracking information and making arrangements to receive the shipment.

Tracking may not update immediately after a label is created.

Multiple tracking numbers may be issued for orders shipped in separate packages.

Split Shipments

Fitment Lab may ship an order in multiple packages or from multiple locations.

Products may arrive on different dates.

A partial delivery does not mean that the remaining merchandise has been lost or omitted.

The customer should review all tracking numbers and shipment records before reporting missing merchandise.

Inspection Before Accepting Delivery

The customer must inspect the exterior condition of the shipment before signing the delivery receipt whenever reasonably possible.

The customer should look for:

  • Crushed packaging
  • Torn packaging
  • Holes or punctures
  • Exposed merchandise
  • Bent boxes
  • Broken pallets
  • Missing straps
  • Rewrapped merchandise
  • Water damage
  • Visible wheel damage
  • Visible tire damage
  • Missing packages
  • Incorrect package count

The customer must compare the number of packages received against the carrier’s delivery receipt.

Visible Freight Damage

Visible damage must be clearly and specifically noted on the carrier’s delivery receipt before the customer signs it.

The customer should not write only “subject to inspection.”

The customer should describe the observed condition, such as:

  • Box crushed
  • Wheel exposed
  • Packaging punctured
  • One package missing
  • Pallet damaged
  • Product visibly scratched

If the damage appears severe, the customer should contact Fitment Lab before refusing the shipment whenever reasonably possible.

Refusal should be limited to merchandise that is visibly and materially damaged unless Fitment Lab instructs otherwise.

Damage Documentation

The customer must photograph and preserve:

  • The entire shipment
  • Each side of the packaging
  • Shipping labels
  • Tracking labels
  • Pallet condition
  • Straps and wrapping
  • Damaged areas
  • Product damage
  • Serial numbers or part numbers
  • Carrier delivery receipt

Photographs should be taken before products are unpacked, moved, installed, mounted, balanced, altered, repaired, or discarded.

The customer must retain all packaging until the claim has been resolved.

Reporting Shipping Damage

Visible or concealed shipping damage must be reported to Fitment Lab within 24 hours of delivery.

The report should include:

  • Customer name
  • Order or invoice number
  • Tracking number
  • Description of damage
  • Copy of the delivery receipt
  • Photographs
  • Video, when available
  • Package count
  • Description of any missing items

Failure to promptly inspect, document, preserve, and report damage may prevent or materially limit recovery from the carrier, supplier, or insurer.

Concealed Damage

Concealed damage is damage that was not reasonably visible before the product was removed from its packaging.

Concealed damage must be reported immediately after discovery and no later than 24 hours after delivery.

The customer must stop unpacking or handling the merchandise once concealed damage is discovered and must preserve all packaging and evidence.

Installation, use, repair, disposal, mounting, balancing, or alteration of allegedly damaged merchandise may result in denial of the shipping claim.

Missing Items

Claims involving missing products or packages must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.

The customer must provide:

  • Photographs of all received packages
  • Photographs of shipping labels
  • Photographs of package contents
  • Copy of the delivery receipt
  • Description of missing items
  • Package count received
  • Any available surveillance footage

Fitment Lab may review warehouse, supplier, package-weight, carrier, photographic, and delivery records before approving a remedy.

Incorrect Products

The customer must inspect all merchandise before installation, mounting, balancing, or use.

Claims involving an allegedly incorrect product must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.

The customer must provide photographs showing:

  • Product
  • Product label
  • Part number
  • Serial number
  • Size markings
  • Finish
  • Bolt pattern, when relevant
  • Tire size, when relevant
  • Shipping label
  • Packaging

Incorrect merchandise must not be installed, driven on, mounted, balanced, modified, or damaged.

Fitment Lab may deny responsibility when the merchandise matches the signed invoice or approved order.

Do Not Install Damaged or Incorrect Merchandise

The customer must not install, mount, balance, drive on, modify, repair, refinish, or otherwise use any merchandise believed to be damaged, defective, missing components, or incorrect.

Installation or alteration may:

  • Prevent carrier inspection
  • Void a manufacturer warranty
  • Eliminate available remedies
  • Make it impossible to determine when damage occurred
  • Constitute acceptance of the merchandise

The customer is responsible for inspecting all products before incurring third-party labor or installation costs.

Shipping Claim Process

Submitting a shipping claim does not guarantee a refund, replacement, credit, or claim approval.

Fitment Lab may require the customer to cooperate with:

  • Carrier inspection
  • Manufacturer inspection
  • Distributor investigation
  • Insurance investigation
  • Payment-provider review
  • Financing-provider review
  • Law-enforcement investigation

The customer may be required to provide additional photographs, written statements, identification, packaging, merchandise, or other supporting evidence.

The customer must not dispose of, repair, alter, sell, or transfer the merchandise while a claim is pending without Fitment Lab’s written approval.

Claim Remedies

When a shipping claim is approved, the available remedy will be determined by Fitment Lab, the carrier, supplier, insurer, manufacturer, and applicable law.

Available remedies may include:

  • Replacement of the damaged product
  • Replacement of the damaged component
  • Repair
  • Refinishing
  • Carrier-approved compensation
  • Partial credit
  • Store credit
  • Refund when legally required
  • Another reasonable resolution

Fitment Lab is not required to replace an entire wheel-and-tire package when only one product or component is damaged.

No Unauthorized Repairs

The customer may not arrange repairs, refinishing, replacement, installation, or other corrective work and expect reimbursement without obtaining Fitment Lab’s written authorization before the expense is incurred.

Fitment Lab is not responsible for unauthorized:

  • Repair charges
  • Refinishing charges
  • Installation charges
  • Mounting charges
  • Balancing charges
  • Removal charges
  • Diagnostic charges
  • Transportation expenses
  • Replacement purchases
  • Vehicle modifications

Lost Shipments

A shipment is not considered lost merely because tracking has not recently updated or the estimated delivery date has passed.

Fitment Lab may require the carrier to complete a trace or investigation before providing a remedy.

The customer agrees to cooperate with any carrier, insurer, financing company, payment processor, or law-enforcement investigation.

Packages Marked Delivered

When carrier records show that a shipment was delivered, the customer must first:

  • Check the entire delivery area
  • Check with household members
  • Check with employees
  • Check with neighbors
  • Check with building management
  • Check with the receiving department
  • Review security-camera footage
  • Contact the carrier

The customer must promptly notify Fitment Lab if the shipment still cannot be located.

Fitment Lab may request:

  • Signed statement of nonreceipt
  • Police report
  • Identification
  • Security footage
  • Address verification
  • Carrier investigation
  • Financing-provider cooperation
  • Payment-provider cooperation

A refund or replacement will not be automatically issued solely because the customer states that a carrier-confirmed delivery cannot be located.

Theft After Delivery

Fitment Lab is not responsible for theft, disappearance, weather damage, or loss occurring after valid delivery to the approved shipping address, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

Customers should arrange for secure and attended delivery of high-value merchandise.

Refused Shipments

Refusing a shipment does not cancel an order and does not create an automatic right to a refund.

A shipment should not be refused because of:

  • Buyer’s remorse
  • Change of mind
  • Found a lower price
  • Installation expense
  • Delivery delay
  • Customer scheduling issue
  • Financing payment commencement
  • Failure to arrange unloading
  • Failure to obtain permission from another person
  • Customer no longer wanting the merchandise

Before refusing a shipment because of visible damage, the customer should contact Fitment Lab whenever reasonably possible.

Undeliverable and Returned Shipments

If a shipment is returned because of customer action or inaccurate customer information, the customer may be responsible for:

  • Original shipping charges
  • Return shipping charges
  • Redelivery fees
  • Storage charges
  • Reconsignment charges
  • Address-correction charges
  • Carrier penalties
  • Handling expenses
  • Damage occurring during return transit

Fitment Lab may require payment of all outstanding charges before reshipping the merchandise.

Returned or undeliverable merchandise remains subject to our Return, Cancellation & Sales Policy.

Missed Deliveries

The customer is responsible for being available for scheduled delivery.

A missed delivery may result in:

  • Redelivery charges
  • Storage charges
  • Terminal pickup
  • Return shipping
  • Reconsignment fees
  • Additional carrier charges

These charges are the customer’s responsibility when caused by the customer’s absence, failure to respond, failure to schedule delivery, or failure to provide access.

Storage Fees

Carriers may charge storage fees when merchandise is not accepted, scheduled, retrieved, or delivered within the carrier’s permitted timeframe.

The customer is responsible for storage charges resulting from:

  • Failure to schedule delivery
  • Failure to answer carrier communications
  • Customer-requested delivery delays
  • Customer unavailability
  • Failure to retrieve terminal freight
  • Refusal of delivery
  • Inaccessible delivery location

Fitment Lab may require payment of accrued storage and carrier charges before authorizing delivery or release.

Customer Pickup and Local Delivery

Customer pickup or local delivery may be available only when expressly approved by Fitment Lab.

Customers picking up merchandise must inspect the products before leaving the pickup location.

The customer may be required to provide:

  • Government-issued identification
  • Order confirmation
  • Payment verification
  • Signed pickup acknowledgment

Once merchandise has been inspected, accepted, and removed from the pickup location, transportation damage caused during customer loading or transport is the customer’s responsibility.

International Shipments

International shipping may not be available for all products or destinations.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, the customer is responsible for:

  • Customs duties
  • Import taxes
  • Brokerage fees
  • Port fees
  • Inspection fees
  • Local delivery charges
  • International storage
  • Compliance with local laws
  • Import restrictions
  • Required permits

Customs delays are outside Fitment Lab’s control.

Refusal to pay duties, taxes, or import charges does not cancel the order and does not create an automatic right to a refund.

Financing and Lease-to-Own Orders

For purchases made through a third-party financing or lease-to-own provider, the financing agreement is separate from Fitment Lab’s shipping obligations.

The financing or lease-to-own agreement may become active before the merchandise is delivered, depending on the provider’s terms.

Carrier transit time, tracking delays, manufacturer processing, or delivery scheduling do not automatically suspend or cancel the customer’s obligations to the financing provider.

Questions regarding payments, account status, early-purchase options, interest, lease costs, or other financing terms must be directed to the financing provider.

Fitment Lab will comply with applicable law regarding merchandise that cannot be shipped.

Installation Scheduling

Customers should not schedule:

  • Installation
  • Mounting
  • Balancing
  • Alignment
  • Vehicle modification
  • Shop appointments
  • Travel
  • Shows
  • Events
  • Vehicle delivery

until all merchandise has been delivered, inspected, and confirmed to be correct and undamaged.

Fitment Lab is not responsible for cancellation charges, lost deposits, missed appointments, lost wages, vehicle downtime, or other expenses caused by scheduling services before the complete order is received and inspected.

Force Majeure and Events Outside Our Control

Fitment Lab is not responsible for delays or failure caused by events outside its reasonable control, including:

  • Severe weather
  • Floods
  • Fires
  • Natural disasters
  • War
  • Terrorism
  • Civil unrest
  • Government action
  • Labor disputes
  • Carrier interruptions
  • Port congestion
  • Customs delays
  • Manufacturer shutdowns
  • Supplier shortages
  • Material shortages
  • Cyberattacks
  • Power outages
  • Public-health emergencies
  • Transportation interruptions

This section does not eliminate any legally required obligation regarding delay notices, customer consent, cancellation, or refunds.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fitment Lab is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from shipping, delivery, delay, damage, loss, or nondelivery.

This includes:

  • Lost profits
  • Lost wages
  • Lost business
  • Vehicle downtime
  • Rental vehicles
  • Towing
  • Travel expenses
  • Missed appointments
  • Event expenses
  • Installation expenses
  • Third-party labor
  • Storage expenses not authorized by Fitment Lab

Fitment Lab’s maximum liability for an approved shipping claim will not exceed the amount paid to Fitment Lab for the specific merchandise giving rise to the claim, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Policy Conflicts

This Shipping & Delivery Policy must be read together with Fitment Lab’s:

  • Terms of Service
  • Return, Cancellation & Sales Policy
  • Applicable invoice
  • Financing documents
  • Written product acknowledgment
  • Other transaction-specific agreements

If a transaction-specific signed agreement directly conflicts with this policy, the more specific signed agreement will generally control for that transaction, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Policy Updates

Fitment Lab may update this Shipping & Delivery Policy from time to time.

The version in effect when the customer completes the applicable transaction will generally govern that transaction.

The current effective date will be displayed at the top of this policy.

Severability

If any portion of this policy is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

The affected provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law.
